Headquarters to the Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street is a historic Grade II listed conference, event and wedding venue located in the centre of Westminster. Many notable events have taken place here; the late Queen Elizabeth II visited in 1978 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the grant of the Institution’s first royal charter, and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh also sat his Royal Navy examinations in the Great Hall!

You sure can… however, please note that all attendees must purchase a ticket to attend the event.
The nearest car parks provided by Q-Park are located in Abingdon Street and on the south side of Trafalgar Square. Limited meter parking is also available in and around adjacent streets. We recommend arriving at the venue earlier than needed, to be sure at grabbing a spot!
Both Westminster (Exit 6) on the District, Circle and Jubilee lines, and St James’s Park on the District and Circle lines, are just 5 minutes walk away.
Our first choice would be hub by Premier Inn, London Westminster Abbey Hotel. It’s budget friendly and only a 5-minute walk to One Great George Street!
No. We believe that the intimate nature of the 1DayBB event will be completely lost if you were streaming the action live, or watching a video replay. Because of this, no official recording will be taking place at the event.
As this is an intimate live event and tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis – there are no refunds offered if you can’t attend. However, you can send someone in your place – just be sure to let our team know their details, prior to the event taking place, by emailing us directly.
All attendees are advised to stay up to date with travel updates and hotel requirements, as these are beyond the control of the organisers.
